In order to obtain the visa for Algeria for you, we need these completed documents:

• Valid passport (needs to be valid for at least 6 more months after your return date)
• 2 visa application forms completed and signed
• 2 recent passport photos (in colour and with a bright background, please paste on application form)
• proof of foreign travel health insurance
• copy of return tickets and hotel confirmation
• copy of your residence permit (for people WITHOUT Swiss or Liechtensteiner passport)
• stamps for CHF 6.00.- (please, don’t paste them on the envelope)

Important information about the visa

• If entering Kazakhstan by car, the brand of the car and the number plate have to be indicated
• For children of up to 16 years, the visa is free
• Maximum duration of stay with 1-year visa: 120 days
• When applying for a business visa, the following documents are required:
  • An invitation letter of the company in Algeria (must be conveyed per Fax, Email is NOT accepted. Content: travel period, number of entries, reason for the trip, activities in Algeria)
  • Certificate of registration or statutes of the Swiss company
  • Letter from the Swiss company sending you
• Minors need a written power of attorney of their parents
• Travelling by car: In addition, a copy of the driving licence has to be attached
• Transit visa: valid for 7 days; the visa for the country of destination has to be in the passport
