What do I need to enter Australia?

As a Swiss or EU citizen, you need a visa to enter Australia. We will handle the visa application process for you.

We can obtain all types of Australian visas on your behalf:

• Visa for up to 3 months (ETA visa for tourists and business, Visitor Visa Subclass 651)
• Tourist visa up to 6 months (Visitor/Tourist Visa Subclass 600)
• Work visa up to 3 months (max. 6-week stay, Subclass 400)
• Student visa up to 12 months (Subclass 500)
• Other types available upon request

ETA-Visum (for stays under 3 months):

To apply for an ETA visa, you must hold a passport from one of the following countries:

Cost: CHF 50.– The visa will be emailed to you within 1 day. ETA is valid for 1 year from the date of issue and allows multiple entries (max. 90 days per entry).

Tourist Visa (for stays up to 6 months):

If you are not a citizen of one of the countries listed above or plan to stay longer than 3 months, you’ll need a tourist visa.

• Completed and signed application form 1419
• Completed supplementary form 1221 (for non-EU citizens)
• Flight reservation (if available)
• Proof of financial means (bank statements from the last 3 months)

Work Visa (Temporary Work Visa)

A work visa is issued for short-term stays by highly qualified professionals. It is valid for 3 months with a maximum stay of 6 weeks.

• Copy of passport
• Completed and signed application form 1400
• Passport photo (35 x 45 mm)
• Employment contract between the Swiss company and the applicant
• Assignment letter from the Swiss company
• Invitation letter from the Australian host company
• HR extract from the Swiss company

Student Visa (for stays up to 6 months):

A student visa is required if you book a language course lasting more than 12 weeks. For shorter courses, a tourist visa is sufficient.

• Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE – from your language school)
