In order to obtain the visa for China for you, we need these completed documents:

• Valid passport (needs to be valid for at least 3 more months after your return date and needs to have 2 empty pages)
• An additional copy of the passport (page with the personal details)
• If the passport of the applicant was issued after 01.01.2015, you have to send the old original passport as well. If it is not available, you have to complete and include the following explanation letter
• Visa application form, completed and signed
• filled our data protection file
• 1 recent passport photo
• copy of your flight tickets (into and out of the country)
• copy of your hotel confirmation
• copy of your residence permit (for people without Swiss or Liechtensteiner passport)
• For business visas: Invitation letter from China (which you can also receive from us); if you would like an annual visa, also a copy of your last visa for China is required.
• Stamps for CHF 6.00.- (please, don’t paste them on the envelope)
• Completed contract form for bornpower gmbh

Processing time for the visa

• Normal: 5-7 days after the receipt of the passport
• Express: 3 days after the receipt of the passport
• Urgent: 2 days after the receipt of the passport

Important information about the visa

• Maximum duration of stay without interruption: 30 days (if it is specified on the visa application form, longer stays are possible)
• For Hongkong and Macau, Swiss citizens DON’T need a visa. If requested, we can also organize these visas for you.
• Business visas can be applied for, at the earliest, 1 month before departure, tourist visas 50 days before departure
• For a business visa, you also need an invitation letter from the inviting institution/ the ministry (we can organize it for you)
