Please note:

Swiss citizens do not need a visa for tourist entries into Laos up to 15 days. If you are planning to stay longer in the country, you need a tourist visa for 30 days.

This tourist visa can be obtained directly at the border crossing or at the airport in Vientiane, Pakse or Luangprabang.

The visa can also be organized in advance in Switzerland. We are happy to help you with this.

In order to obtain your visa to Laos, we need all of the following documents from you:

• Valid passport (has to be valid for at least another 6 months as of the entry date and has to contain at least 3 empty pages / for non-immigrant visas 18 months)
• Visa application, fully completed and signed
• 1 recent passport photo
• Kopie der Flugreservation
• Copy of residence permit (for those WITHOUT Swiss or Liechtenstein passport)
• Stamps for CHF 6.00.-
• Order form to bornpower gmbh

Important information on the visa:

• The tourist visa is valid for 2 months as of the issuance date and entitles a stay of max. 30 days.
• The visa can be extended on-site with 30 days.
• Citizens of Kosovo cannot obtain a visa for Laos.
